JPS provides spacious, modern classrooms designed for individual attention, supported by over 25 teaching spaces, Audio-Visual and Resource Rooms. Ergonomic, colorful furniture adds to a vibrant and engaging learning environment.
Transport
JPS ensures safe and convenient travel with a fleet of buses equipped with GPS, CCTV, fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, and speed governors. All drivers and attendants are police-verified, and structured emergency protocols are in place. The routes cover key areas across South Bangalore for reliable student transport.
Learning Resource center
Library
The library serves as a vital resource hub for both students and faculty, with a collection of over 15,000 volumes including textbooks, reference works, fiction, periodicals, and audio-visual materials. To nurture reading habits, a special program for Grades 1 to 6 encourages children to explore age-appropriate books and enjoy the world of reading.
Computer Lab
Computer education is an integral part of the curriculum, supported by a state-of-the-art lab where students learn the latest software applications and programming languages. Offered from Class 1 to Class 8, the program is guided by qualified teachers who prepare students for the digital age. The lab is equipped with dedicated broadband access to support safe and purposeful online learning.
The Science Laboratory

Audio-Visual Rooms
Computer-aided teaching at JPS gives students a competitive edge by making learning more interactive and effective. The audio-visual room is actively used for presentations, with Smart Boards and PowerPoint sessions enhancing retention, sharpening skills, and fostering better student-teacher engagement.
Auditorium
The auditorium serves as the venue for school and public functions, featuring a spacious stage with a green room for plays and performances. Equipped with an LCD projector, advanced sound system, and modern lighting, it provides the perfect setting for a variety of activities and programs.
Infirmary
JPS has a well-equipped infirmary managed by qualified nursing staff. Regular medical check-ups are conducted, and detailed records are maintained. In case a student requires special medical attention, parents are informed immediately for timely care.
Guidance and Counselling
Qualified and experienced teachers also serve as counsellors, supporting students in their learning journey. Through positive guidance and intervention, they help address emotional and behavioural challenges, fostering overall well-being and growth.
Safety at school
The safety of children is our top priority. Creating a school security system requires a careful balance—ensuring a safe and reassuring environment for students and parents while preserving the school’s open, welcoming, and creative atmosphere that supports learning and growth.
During arrival and dismissal times, all entry and exit points are closely monitored by teachers, staff, administrators, and security cameras. Throughout class hours, outer doors remain securely locked, and visitors are directed through a single point of entry that leads to the main office for check-in. An intercom system with a camera is installed at the primary entrance to verify each visitor’s identity and purpose before granting access. In addition, photo ID cards are issued to all students, along with Parent ID and Escort ID cards for parents and authorized guardians responsible for pickup.
Supply closets, electrical cabinets, HVAC units, and other critical areas within the building are also secured with access control to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure safety.
An efficient CCTV network is installed throughout the campus to monitor both external and internal threats to student safety. This system helps identify and address incidents such as hostile visitors, inappropriate behavior, bullying, fighting, or other hazards that may put students at risk. Additionally, all entry points remain under continuous surveillance, ensuring a secure environment at all times.
A comprehensive Child Protection Policy is in place in accordance with the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act). As required by the Education Department and Police, a dedicated Child Protection Committee has been formed, comprising a Child Protection Officer (CPO), the Principal, a child safety expert, and two staff members. The CPO serves as the first point of contact for promptly addressing and managing any untoward incidents that may occur on campus.
